Democratic 2020 presidential candidates are not following the mainstream media’s delusional doubling down on the Russia collusion conspiracy in the wake of the Mueller report but rather are attempting to avoid the dumpster fire altogether. Minnesota Senator Amy Kobluchar steered clear of any drama with a simple tweet for transparency, opining, “The entire Mueller report must be made public.” She then shifted to a safer topic: gun control. Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey did more or less the same thing, tweeting, “The American public deserves the full report and findings from the Mueller investigation immediately-not just the in-house summary from a Trump administration official.” Then at a BET town hall, Booker chose to focus on sentencing reform as opposed to the Mueller report. Senator Kamala Harris (CA) made a similar call for transparency before calling for federal subsidies for teachers. This should be viewed as a tip of the hand: Democrats don’t want to be held to the standard of inquisition to which they held our president. So the GOP should oblige that pre-Mueller report standard and wonder aloud, “What did Obama know, and when did he know it?”
Here’s more from Breitbart…
The Democrats’ 2020 presidential candidates are downplaying and distancing themselves from the Mueller report as fast as they can tweet.
“The entire Mueller report must be made public,” said a no-risk tweet from Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who declined to make any risky claims about coverups or impeachment promises. Her next tweet changed the subject to gun rights, asking, “How many more children will be hurt by gun violence — directly or indirectly — before we listen to their voices, take action and pass sensible gun safety legislation?”
New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker adopted the same low-risk approach:
The American public deserves the full report and findings from the Mueller investigation immediately—not just the in-house summary from a Trump Administration official. https://t.co/8Lj0O881Cw
