Arizona AG Requests Investigation Into 2,000 Mules-Linked Group

Arizona’s top state prosecutor requested that the FBI and Internal Revenue Service investigate a conservative nonprofit group featured in the controversial documentary 2,000 Mules.

Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, claims True the Vote has refused to cooperate with state investigators and won’t share evidence it put forward in the Dinesh D’Souza documentary, which raised ballot-harvesting allegations that have fueled claims of widespread election fraud in the 2020 election. His office also claims that the group has used the claims to raise large sums of money, prompting the call for an investigation by the IRS.
