Since the election victory of Donald Trump, the left has been in no small degree of introspection about how the inevitability of Hillary Clinton ended up so wrong.
And that speculation includes some “what ifs” about whether it would have ended differently if Joe Biden had run. Which leads to questions about 2020.
Here’s more from Newsmax:
Vice President Joe Biden likely will not run for president in 2020, but he knows one thing: he’ll be in “better shape” than President-elect Donald Trump.
“I can’t see the circumstance in which I’d run, but what I’ve learned a long, long time ago, Stephen, is to never say never,” Biden said Tuesday night during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
“You don’t know what’s going to happen. I mean hell, Donald Trump’s gonna be 74. I’ll be 77 and in better shape. I mean, what the hell?”
Biden considered running for president in the 2016 election but ultimately decided against it. On Monday, he made headlines by telling the press he was going to run in 2020.
