Chris ‘Tingle Up My Leg’ Matthews was forced to admit on-air yesterday that James Comey’s testimony basically unraveled the left’s grand conspiracy theory that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government in the presidential election.
Not only was there no investigation on Trump himself, but the scandalous Michael Flynn was not and is not even central to the question concerning the ongoing special prosecutor and his investigation into Russia’s alleged tinkering.
If a radical partisan like Matthews is willing to admit the obvious, will all of his leftist friends also?
Probably not.
Here’s more from Mediaite…
There would be no tingles going up the legs of Chris Matthews this Thursday as the MSNBC host acknowledged that the accusations that President Trump directly colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election “came apart” following former FBI Director James Comey‘s testimony in front of Congress.
“The assumption of the critics of the president, of his pursuers, you might say, is that somewhere along the line in the last year is the president had something to do with colluding with the Russians … to affect the election in some way,” Matthews said during MSNBC’s post-Comey testimony analysis.
“And yet what came apart this morning was that theory”.
Matthews also said that “Flynn wasn’t central to the Russian investigation” and “if that’s not the case, where’s the there-there?”
