In the wake of the tragic events in Parkland, Florida, leftmedia journo-goons are pouring gasoline on the fire of anti-gun rhetoric.
Enter Washington Post’s headline from yesterday which claims that the shooting on Wednesday is the 18th so far in 2018…in just two months.
If that sounds a little fishy, it should…it’s entirely false.
The Post’s story relies on statistics from the anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety, whose bogus stats inflate the number wildly.
For instance, their count of school shootings includes any illegal use of a firearm in the vicinity of a school, including suicides, accidental shots fired, etc.
Here’s more from Hot Air…
If you’ve been online in the last 24-hours you’ve probably heard this factoid about the number of school shootings that have (supposedly) taken place so far this year:
Even worse. It’s actually the 18th this year.https://t.co/mI8xtfSW89 https://t.co/snvDDz7KOB

Heartbroken by the news from Florida. There have been at least 18 school shootings since 2018 began. Each one is a tragic reminder that it’s way past time for change.
