Georgia Dem: Can’t Vote for Himself, Doesn’t Live in District

He’s being hailed as the Democrats’ knight in shining armor, the prince who might just ride in to save the day from that evil King Trump who’s ruling the land with an iron fist.

His name is Jon Ossof, the erstwhile thirty-year-old pup who has a way with the ladies.

He’s the Democrat nominee to replace Congressman Tom Price who was appointed by President Trump as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services.

With Georgia voters heading to the polls today in the special election, Ossof had a bombshell dropped on him by none other than CNN: he can’t vote for himself because he doesn’t even live in the district he’s running to represent.

Oops, epic fail, Dems.

Here’s more from Need to Know Network…

Jon Ossoff, the Democratic candidate for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District faced questions on CNN Tuesday on the fact that he could not vote for himself due to residency issues.

“Mr. Ossoff, is it true that you cannot vote for yourself?” New Day host Alisyn Camerota asked.

“I grew up in this district. I grew up in this community,” Ossoff said. “No one knew there was going to be an election coming. I’ve been living with Alicia, my girlfriend of 12 years, down by Emory University where she’s a full-time medical student.”

Ossoff said that as soon as his girlfriend concluded her studies, he would move into the district.

“You don’t live in the district in which you’re running, so you will not be able to vote for yourself,” Camerota said.

“I grew up in this district. I grew up in this community. It’s my home,” Ossoff repeated.
