On June 24, 2022, former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo gave a speech at the foreign policy interventionist think tank the Hudson Institute. In this speech, titled “War, Ukraine, and a Global Alliance for Freedom” Pompeo outlined what appears to be the Washington DC foreign policy Blob’s grand strategy for 2022 and beyond.
Basically, it’s focused on dual containment of China and Russia. The Hudson Institute is a neoconservative think tank par excellence that apparently has significant overlap with the Project for the New American Century.
