Leaked Memo: Dems Need Illegals for ‘Electoral Success’

We all knew it was true already, but now we have documented proof that Democrats love minority groups so long as they’re useful for political power.

After all, in the fifty-plus years since the Civil Rights Act, have Democrats really improved the lives of black Americans? Nope.

So it comes as no surprise to learn that the true motivation behind the Democrats’ ballyhoo over passing a bill to legalize DREAMers, or worse for all illegal aliens, isn’t about equality or human rights.

It’s plainly about adding voters to the base.

So says a memo that was leaked to Daily Caller in which a Democrat operative argues pointedly that the fight for DREAMers “is a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.”

Need we say more?

Here’s more from Redstate…

To the surprise of absolutely no one, a leaked document from the Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund shows what most of us have always known, but what Democrats like to pretend isn’t their reality.

Namely, the memo, in great detail, maps out how Democrats are relying on illegal immigration to prop up their political future.

In approaching the debate regarding “Dreamers,” and former President Obama’s executive order on DACA:

The memo, co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, was sent around to allies calling on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”

The latest efforts in the House have come in the form of compromise bill on DACA, with the focus being on a worry over chain migration.

The memo makes it clear that Democrat interest in the poor, shadow-dwelling illegals isn’t simply from the goodness and mercy in their hearts.

“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo, obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
