The Left simply doesn’t know what to do with itself.
After decades of defending Hollywood, the mainstream media and Democrats as the defenders of women and archnemesis of ‘male hegemony’, they have the knives out for each other after the exposure of exploitation of liberal women by liberal men.
So when CNN leading man Jake Tapper came to the public defense of men wrongfully accused of harassment, feminazis everywhere came after him.
What was his controversial point? That it’s immoral to think that accusing innocent men of wrongdoing is justifiable collateral damage in the left’s war against patriarchy.
The bottom line according to the left is precisely this: injustice in the pursuit of justice is still justice.
Here’s more from Redstate…
Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear nice suits, work in the mainstream media, and hand feminists their behinds back to them when their sexism begins to shine through. That’s exactly what CNN’s Jake Tapper did on Tuesday night when some feminists decided to go after Tapper for simply supporting innocent men.
As the sexual misconduct allegations rage across politics and Hollywood, some feminists are more than ready to engage in a good ol’ fashioned witch hunt, even it means throwing some men under the bus who have done nothing wrong.
That’s what Emily Lindin signaled to the world when she took to Twitter and wrote that she’s “not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs over false sexual assault/harassment allegations.”
Lindin has privatized her account due to the public lashing she received for her hate, but since the internet is forever, here is a photo of her tweet.
Tapper replied when she accused him of misreading her tweet:
I read the thread. You said “if some innocent men’s reputations have to take a hit in the process of undoing the patriarchy, that is a price I am absolutely willing to pay.” That’s immoral. And it’s not a price *you* would be paying, btw. It would be innocent men doing that.
