Liberal Sen. Al Franken isn’t laughing anymore.
His attempt to shrug the shoulders at multiple accusations of harassment has begun to backfire.
After yet another accuser has come forward and with the backdrop of the resignation of Rep. John Conyers over the same accusations, Franken’s days in the Senate appear to be coming very quickly to a close.
As of this writing at least nine of his fellow Democrats in the Senate have called for his resignation.
With this much public disrepute, he’s likely come to the realization now that the prospect of reelection in 2020 is waning fast.
In fact, by the time you read this, Franken may already have called it quits. And good riddance.
