On Monday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) announced its top targets to pick up House seats for the GOP during the 2024 elections.
The party currently holds a razor thin majority in the lower chamber and the GOP’s campaign arm for House races hopes to maximize gains by targeting the most vulnerable Democrats.
The list includes both seats that an incumbent Democrat will leave vacant while seeking a different office and those the opposing party flipped in 2022, as well as other close districts, The Hill reported.
NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson, R-N.C., expressed optimism about the prospect of Republican wins in the next cycle, saying “Republicans are in the majority and on offense.” Read more…
