Rubio Drops Bombshell: FBI Confirms ISIS Network in U.S!

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) asserted during a recent interview that FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed to him the existence of a trafficking network that smuggles illegal aliens with ties to ISIS into the United States. Rubio made these statements while discussing the ISIS-K terrorist attack in Moscow during a Sunday appearance on ABC News’ “This Week.”

Rubio emphasized the resurgence of ISIS-K, the Afghan wing of ISIS, following the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. He highlighted the warning signs of ISIS regrouping and planning external attacks after the U.S. withdrawal, citing previous attacks in Afghanistan and Iran. Notably, Rubio recalled the devastating suicide bombing at Kabul International Airport that claimed the lives of 13 American service members.

Drawing attention to the recent attack in Iran resulting in over 80 casualties, Rubio underscored the potential threat posed by ISIS-K to the United States. He disclosed information from Director Wray regarding a trafficking network involved in moving individuals with links to ISIS across borders, including the southern border of the United States.

Rubio expressed concern over the trafficking network’s ability to transport operatives into the United States, given their proficiency in moving individuals globally for profit. While Rubio did not suggest an imminent threat, he stressed the significance of addressing the border situation and the existence of the trafficking network as a potential threat to national security.

During the interview, Rubio contrasted the previous administration’s efforts in combating ISIS with the current administration’s perceived weakness. He noted that ISIS faced significant setbacks under former President Donald Trump but has since reconstituted itself amid the Biden administration’s policies, particularly following the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Rubio warned of the increased operational freedom enjoyed by ISIS-K in the absence of regular strikes and military presence in Afghanistan, enabling them to organize openly and plan external attacks. He urged vigilance in monitoring potential threats and securing the border, especially considering the substantial influx of migrants in recent years.
