Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss gave $135 million in dark money to the 1630 Fund from 2016 to 2020, and $45.2 million to the Fund for a Better Future over the same time period.
The New York Times is reporting that Wyss funneled money through his network into the Democrat Party apparatus. His cash was used to build crucial election infrastructure and propped up groups like Center for American Progress and Priorities USA as they agitated against former President Donald Trump.
