Texas Sen. Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz said that the use of the word “insurrection” to describe the events of January 6 is a “political term used by Democrats & the corporate media.”
Instead, he apparently prefers to call it a “violent terrorist attack,” as he did on the floor of the U.S. Senate this week.
