Former President Donald Trump repeated his claim that Albany’s top prosecutor is “racist” – and that her lawsuit against him is “ridiculous” – before being deposed in connection with a $250 million civil case Thursday morning.
Trump, 76, was back in Manhattan eight days after being charged with 34 felonies to testify in connection with accusations that he and three of his children overvalued his assets by billions of dollars to get favorable loans.
The current Republican contender for president took to Truth Social to issue a bitter attack on New York Attorney General Letitia James hours before his expected deposition.
“I will be heading downtown to meet with a Racist who leaked that I would be there at 9:30 A.M.,” Trump wrote. “The leak makes it much more difficult for the Police and Secret Service to do their job.
