Trump Tweets for Pirro, Then She Calls for Ryan Resignation

This weekend, after the colossal defeat of Ryancare, the media is piling on with calls for Paul Ryan’s removal as Speaker.

Though Trump continues to maintain his confidence in Ryan, he tweeted that followers should watch Judge Jeanine’s Fox News show.

But when her show actually aired, she launched into a scathing attack on Ryan’s lack of leadership and then officially called for his resignation.

Will this lead to upheaval in control of the House?

This week will be interesting.

Here’s more from Newsmax…

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro on Saturday slammed House Speaker Paul Ryan for the healthcare replacement failure and questioned his agenda hours after President Donald Trump told his Twitter followers to tune in to her show.

“Paul Ryan needs to step down as Speaker of the House,” she said in her opening statement. “The reason? He failed to deliver the votes on his health care bill. The one trumpeted to repeal and replace Obamacare.”

Later, Pirro said, “I want to be clear, this is not on President Trump. No one expected a businessman to completely understand the nuances, the complicated ins and outs of Washington and its legislative process. How would he know which individuals upon which he would be able to rely?”

Pirro later said she didn’t discuss the opener with Trump or anyone from the White House and, she was “still furious with Paul Ryan.”

Mediaite suggested Pirro might have new revelations on Trump’s wiretapping claims, but she didn’t and rehashed the news from the week about committees looking into claims that Trump’s administration had contact with Russia.

She continued: “The reason, Ryan, you and all of your Washington colleagues are held in such low self-esteem with the American people is because you forgot about us. … The president joined with you, and he relied on you. The American people won’t forget this and neither should the president.”
