Biden climate advisor Gina McCarthy said that she is proud of the administration’s policy causing oil producers to lose over 31,000 jobs and coal producers to lose over 7,000 jobs.
“We have opportunities now to transfer to clean energy in a way that grows thousands of jobs,” McCarthy said during the Aspen Ideas Festival.
“We now, we just had a recent report that was put out showing all of the energy and the employment stats from last year. Clean energy is winning, fossil fuels losing jobs, we’re gaining them every step of the way,” she added. Read more…
