However, Lambert expressed disappointment in Trump’s recent performance during a CNN town hall, questioning whether voters who didn’t support him in 2020 would be swayed this time around.
According to sources, other prominent Republican donors, such as Robert Mercer, Rebekah Mercer, Steve Schwarzman, Ken Griffin, Andy Sabin, and Ronald Lauder, are also withholding their support for Trump’s 2024 bid. Some believe that a fresh face is needed to represent the party in the presidential race, signaling a desire for new leadership.
