Explosive Call: Bannon Wants McDaniel Out, Don Jr. In

At the Turning Point Action ‘AmericaFest’ conference, Steve Bannon, former Trump Chief Strategist and ‘War Room’ host, stirred controversy by suggesting the removal of Ronna Romney McDaniel as head of the Republican National Committee (RNC) in favor of Donald Trump Jr. According to Bannon, there’s a concern that the ‘deep state’ is conspiring to manipulate Donald Trump into selecting Nikki Haley as his Vice President.

Bannon’s claim centered on a plan purportedly designed to use Haley to court the “Never Trump” faction while aiming to attract the MAGA movement, suggesting a coalition with the “neocon and neoliberal Nikki.” This notion was met with a raucous crowd chanting “Tucker! Tucker! Tucker!” in support of Tucker Carlson as Trump’s potential VP.

The swirling rumors about potential VP candidates for Trump include Carlson, who, earlier this month, addressed these speculations at the American Principles Project Foundation’s annual Christmas gala. Carlson humorously noted that contemplating such a role would require an act of divine intervention, humorously stating, “God would have to yell at me very loud.”

Bannon disparaged the idea of Haley as a potential VP pick, likening her to “Judas Pence” and criticizing the media for portraying Trump as a wannabe dictator. He previously expressed his conviction that Trump would choose a female candidate as his running mate for the 2024 presidential campaign.

During an interview on the Sean Spicer Show, Bannon highlighted South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem as a frontrunner due to her alignment with the MAGA movement and her prior association with Trump. He also lauded Rep. Elise Stefanik, emphasizing her strength in addressing issues like anti-Semitism.

Bannon’s comments at the conference and subsequent interviews underscored a growing debate within conservative circles about potential VP candidates for Trump’s speculated 2024 presidential run, indicating a clear preference for individuals closely aligned with the MAGA movement.
