Liz Cheney’s Betrayal: Buries Evidence Clearing Trump in J6!

In his recent State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden accused his predecessor and some Republicans of attempting to bury the truth about January 6th. However, a recent revelation suggests that it might be the other way around. According to newly uncovered evidence reported by Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist, former Rep. Liz Cheney, though not a Democrat, played a significant role in downplaying evidence that President Donald Trump had offered 10,000 National Guard troops for security on January 6, 2021, a request rejected by the city.

Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato, who was privy to discussions between White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, revealed crucial details during an interview. Ornato indicated that Meadows urged Bowser to request as many National Guard troops as needed, with Trump suggesting 10,000 troops for maintaining peace during the scheduled rallies. The transcript of this interview, hidden from the public until now, contradicts the January 6 Committee’s claims that there was no evidence of the Trump White House offering the said number of troops.

The revelation raises questions about the committee’s accuracy in characterizing the interview and their decision to suppress the transcript from public review. Additionally, committee allies allegedly spread critical stories and conspiracy theories about Ornato before further interviews. According to Ornato, the Trump White House, anticipating potential clashes between Trump supporters and left-wing groups like Antifa, sought security assistance, even after Mayor Bowser declined the offer of 10,000 troops.

The testimony suggests that the Trump White House, while not expecting a riot, was genuinely concerned about potential violence from left-wing groups. The White House continued its efforts, requesting a quick reaction force from the Defense Department. However, when the Capitol was breached, frustrations mounted due to the slow deployment of assistance by Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. This revelation challenges the narrative that Democrats, along with anti-Trump Republicans like Cheney, have long sought to bury the truth about January 6, underscoring the complexity of the events surrounding that day.
