Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov proclaimed on June 30, 2022 that an “Iron Curtain” is being erected between Russia and the Collective West. His remarks came the day after NATO deemed Russia to be NATO’s “most significant and direct threat” to European security.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, the Collective West has imposed heavy sanctions on Russia and has armed Ukraine to the hilt. The goal NATO is pursuing is to bleed Russia out and diplomatically isolate it…
“As far as an iron curtain is concerned, essentially it is already descending. They should just be careful not to pinch anything,” Lavrov said during a press conference. Lavrov added, “The process has begun.”
