President Joe Biden is hosting an event at the White House on Tuesday afternoon aimed at undermining the Second Amendment rights of Americans and pushing for more gun control measures.
“The President will deliver remarks at Everytown’s Gun Sense University at the Washington Hilton. He will highlight the progress to keep guns out of dangerous hands thanks to the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act and the Administration’s work to combat the epidemic of gun violence in America. This event will be covered by the in-town travel pool,” the White House daily schedule states.
This event comes just hours after Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was found guilty on federal gun charges for lying on a background check. After illegally obtaining a gun while using drugs, his lover Hallie Biden – the widow of Beau Biden – threw the gun in a dumpster near an elementary school in Delaware. During the trial, Hallie testified that Hunter got her hooked on crack during their relationship.
The gun control lobby has failed to condemn Hunter’s blatant violation of existing gun laws while they continue to push for stricter regulations that primarily affect law-abiding citizens.
President Joe Biden has stated he will not pardon Hunter. However, he has not specifically ruled out a commutation if Hunter is sentenced to prison.
The hypocrisy is glaring. As the Biden administration ramps up efforts to restrict gun rights for everyday Americans, they remain conspicuously silent on the illegal actions of the President’s own son. This double standard highlights the broader issue of how gun control measures often target responsible citizens while failing to address the real problems.
