No matter what President Donald Trump does—whether he cures cancer, brokers global nuclear disarmament, or miraculously grows the economy by 25 percent—CNN will still find a way to blame him for something. And this time, they’ve really outdone themselves. Following a Delta airliner crash in Toronto, where, miraculously, no one was killed, CNN wasted no time suggesting that somehow, this too was Trump’s fault. That’s right—according to the network that spent years peddling debunked Russia hoaxes, the issue isn’t pilot error, mechanical failure, or bad weather. No, the real problem is that Trump wants to shrink government. In other words, less bureaucracy = more plane crashes in the deranged minds of corporate media.
And because CNN can never be the only clown in the circus, The View quickly followed suit, making sure to throw in Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for good measure. Apparently, the radical idea that government should be functional and efficient is now a danger to public safety. Perhaps Joy Behar and friends think the FAA should be run like the DMV—slow, incompetent, and protected from accountability. But let’s be real: this plane crash had nothing to do with Trump, Musk, or DOGE—and everything to do with the Biden administration’s disastrous push to prioritize “equity” over competence.
For those paying attention, this disaster was inevitable. Under Biden, the FAA has been actively recruiting people with cognitive impairments—yes, you read that correctly—as air traffic controllers. Forget qualifications, experience, or the ability to, you know, function under pressure. Instead, the administration made a big push to bring in recruits who are brain-damaged, mentally ill, or barely capable of following basic instructions. Because in woke America, the ability to safely land a plane is apparently less important than checking diversity boxes. The result? Unqualified people in the control tower, and planes crashing out of the sky.
So now, when a plane flips upside down on the runway, we’re all supposed to act shocked. But what did they expect? When you replace trained professionals with people who can barely operate a toaster, bad things tend to happen. But don’t count on CNN to report that inconvenient truth. No, they’d rather keep up the charade that Trump and Musk are somehow responsible for Biden’s diversity-driven FAA disaster. Because to them, government is never the problem—unless, of course, Republicans are running it.
At the end of the day, this is what happens when leftist ideology collides with reality. You can only play pretend for so long before the consequences become painfully real—whether it’s inflation, crime, or, in this case, airplanes flipping over on the tarmac. But sure, let’s keep blaming Trump. Meanwhile, maybe someone should check whether the FAA’s latest hire can tell the difference between a runway and a freeway before handing them control of the skies.
