Hillary Clinton’s Disrespectful D-Day Comment Reveals True Colors!

If there was any doubt that Hillary Clinton is a contemptuous and unelectable partisan, her recent comments provided yet another clear reminder. The loser of the 2016 presidential election had the audacity to compare voting against Donald Trump this November to the heroism displayed by those who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day.

“Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy,” Clinton wrote in a post on X. “This November, all we have to do is vote.”

Yes, voting is important and a right that is often taken for granted — something we can do because of the real heroism of men who fought and died fighting actual evil on D-Day. However, heading to the local library to check a few boxes on a ballot is not the same as sacrificing, fighting, and dying for the freedom of others around the world.

When Americans cast their ballots this November, they won’t have to navigate mine-filled waters in an amphibious landing craft. They won’t have to sprint onto a beach under heavy artillery fire or scale the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc with grappling hooks. They won’t lose their friends in the chaos of battle. And if they defeat Trump, they certainly won’t be liberating millions from tyranny.

Beyond the insulting comparison that diminishes the valor of American and Allied forces on D-Day, there’s Clinton’s insinuation to address. In her warped “democracy vs. fascism” reality, Trump is Hitler, his supporters are Nazis, and Democrats are the heroes pushing them back. Clinton conveniently ignores the reality that her beloved party is mired in anti-American activism, cheers for barbaric Hamas terrorists, and routinely disrespects the flag under which D-Day’s heroes fought.

It’s a horrendous way to observe the solemn anniversary of one of the greatest feats of the free world against actual evil totalitarians — and therefore perfectly on-brand for tone-deaf Clinton. This is another “basket of deplorables” moment. It’s why she lost the 2008 primary to Obama and the 2016 election to Trump. She still, as demonstrated with this post, can’t figure out why.
