People have a lot of expectations of the new Congress. We’ve already seen some action including forming the Weaponization Committee and starting to investigate Joe Biden as part of the Oversight Committee, as well as booting Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) off the House Intelligence Committee and Rep. Ilham Omar (D-MN) off the Foreign Affairs Committee.
But there’s also something else that this change has brought that’s one of the best things – the muting of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Notice once she was fired, she seemed to disappear into the wind. No longer were we forced to listen to her constant bleats about how she was making all kinds of despicable policy decisions that harmed Americans “for the children.” That, in and of itself, is a beautiful and positive thing.
